Synopsis: RTown Art Gallery announces a call for entry for its 3rd Annual "Grapevine Contemporary" Group Show. This exhibition invites artists to submit compelling and contemporary artwork. Artists have the opportunity to exhibit one piece. The exhibition will be displayed at RTown Art Gallery from October 1 through October 31, 2024.

 

Juror Information: Closed Jury.

Eligibility: Open to ALL artists. All two-dimensional media will be considered. Artwork must be no more than 36 inches in any direction, including the framing or mounting. The size given for works should be the framed size. Height must be given before width regardless of whether the work is a vertical or horizontal piece. The artwork may represent any subject matter. Accepted work must be suitably framed or on gallery wrapped canvas. Works on paper must be framed under plexiglass or glass—glass is preferred. All artwork must be wired and ready for installation. Please respect these eligibility requirements. Any artwork that fails to meet requirements upon drop off will not be included in the show.

 

Fees: $35 for up to five images.

Important dates:

• Submission Deadline: February, 13th 2025 @ 11:59pm

• Notification of Acceptance: Tuesday, February 18th, 2025

• Artwork Drop Off: February 22nd-26th, 2025

• Opening Reception: Saturday, March 1st, 2025, 7:00–9:00 PM

• Exhibition Dates: March 1 – March 30, 2024

• Artwork Pick-Up: Sunday, March 30th, 2025, 11:00 - 4:00 PM

 

Requirements: Please submit images with the following specifications:

• 72 ppi

• 800 pixels on the longest side

• No borders around the image

• JPEG file format

 

Label your image files with a corresponding entry number, your last name, and the title of the artwork—if it is a long title, you may use a keyword or abbreviation (i.e. 01Baker_Homeplace.jpg).

 

Please include the following with your entry: Title, Medium, Scale (h x w inches), Date, Price.
